Here’s the secret forumula to shelf styling! 😍

You want to make sure you vary these three things:
• Height of items
• Colors
• Volume (# of items grouped together)

Try to vary all of these things on each individual shelf, as well as between items that are directly above and below one another.

On this bookshelf I’ve varied the number of pieces on each shelf (1, 2, or 3) as well as the heights and colors throughout. This helps your eye flow naturally from one shelf to the next, and each piece can stand out on its own but also feels cohesive in the overall design!
