Functional Decor in Our Home that Doubles as Storage

Having enough storage is one of the keys to an organized, clean home in my opinion. When I’m picking out furniture and decor, I always try to pick pieces that are both functional AND pretty! Today I’m sharing some functional decor pieces in our home that double as extra storage (and hidden storage – even better!).

These accent cabinets were a recent addition to our home office and I’m loving how much extra (hidden) storage they provide! They’d be perfect in a toy room, office, entryway, or even as a dresser in a bedroom.

Since we have two of these console tables pushed together, we have four large drawers for extra storage! A few of these are catch-all/misc drawers, and the others I have drawer organizers in to store small items we use often. Perfect for an entryway!

I love these boxes on our entryway console table for hiding keys, sunglasses, change, etc! They’re so pretty in person and give the perfect subtle pop of color. 😍

These ottomans are perfect for storing extra blankets in our living room! I can easily fit 2-3 blankets in each.

We received this storage ottoman as a wedding gift and it’s one of my favorite things in our bedroom! I store extra pillows and blankets in here and it can fit quite a bit.
